Photography & Video Policy
Policy scope Camera usage at the City of Busselton Leisure Centres (GLC & NCC) is conditional; this direction is providing clarification on what is permitted when using a device
that can be used for still or video imagery.
Policy statement The City of Busselton Leisure Centres understands that patrons may want to record special moments with family and friends at our facilities and we accept use of cameras and video recorders for this purpose. However, the photographer must respect the privacy of others while taking photos or filming and avoid including people who are not known to them.
Patrons wishing to photograph or video the Leisure Centre surrounds (pools / grounds / courts) or general crowd shots must first seek permission from Management.
Photographs and video footage is permitted to be taken at the City of Busselton Leisure
Centres in accordance with the following conditions as stipulated below.
- Strictly no photography or video imagery is permitted in the ablutions or change rooms.
- Photos are to be taken of your group only. Approval must still be sought from friends and parents of children prior to taking a photograph.
- Under no circumstances are you permitted to take photographs where members of the general public may appear in the background, unless permission has been granted from each person that it affects.
Photos uploaded to any social media sites i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, may not be posted if they contain members of the public whom are not part of your group (family,
friends, relatives, etc.)
Management reserves the right to view imagery and should any concern be raised, request deletion of photos, video footage and refuse the person from using the device.
